The Covid-19 pandemic brought online education to the forefront of everyone’s minds. Here at The Learning College, it has been at the forefront of our business since we started. Over the years we have found that there are a number of benefits to online study, particularly for adults.
Flexibility
Many adult learners are still working alongside their education, this means that flexibility is key. While there are a number of evening courses and a selection of professions that allow study time away from the business, this is, unfortunately, less than ideal for some. Particularly those looking to change careers, or with young children.
An online qualification allows you to study at a time to suit your current lifestyle, and for schools that have Teaching Assistants studying with us, it means that they have the full capacity to be with students during school hours.
Time Management
In traditional education settings, your time is managed for you. Such as classes at set times, with deadlines for individual pieces of work. However, the online learning approach used by The Learning College, allows for your own time management. This means that should you have big commitments at certain times throughout the course duration, you can take a break from the work. Providing you manage your time well to ensure that all units are submitted on time for your course completion date.
Not Bound To Start Dates
There are a number of learners who have opted to study their qualifications online to allow them to choose their own start dates. In traditional education, learners are bound to specific start dates, such as September or January starts. However, with our online platform, you can start the course the day you enrol, helping you make the most of your motivation, and to get things moving.
Early Finishes
Similar to starting the course as and when you like, online qualifications through The Learning College allow you to finish as soon as you like. By simply dedicating more study time each week, you can greatly reduce the time it takes to complete the course. While there are recommended study hours, having the dedication to get this completed in less than the designated time allows you to complete it sooner rather than later. You might not need the 8 months we recommend to complete the CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant (RQF) Qualification & SEN Certificate, it can be completed much sooner if you have the time and desire to do so.
If you are interested in one of our online qualifications for yourself or a member of your team, please contact the team today. We are happy to discuss finding the right qualification and the future steps your can take.
