Our Teaching Assistant SEN Course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about becoming a Teaching Assistant and has a keen interest in the subject, plus an intention to progress a career.
Assessments are a great way of checking your progress allowing you to apply your learning to real-world situations. Through the Teaching Assistant SEN Course, you will be assessed at the end of each unit via a quiz. To pass, you must achieve 100%. The quiz can be retaken if you are unsuccessful.
All assessments are set by The Learning College. Upon verification of completion, a certificate of achievement will be awarded by the college, as confirmation that you have met all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the course.
Please note: There is no examination required for this course.
Study Hours are an approximate figure and are dependent upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. You should allow enough time to complete assignments/ question papers to ensure satisfactory outcomes are met.
The approximate amount of time required to complete the Teaching Assistant SEN Course is: 8 hrs.
This course is designed for people who either are, or wish to become, a teaching assistant and to add SEN to current qualifications.
This is a knowledge based course designed to teach the main core principles of being a teaching assistant.
All courses are subject to a certification fee of £65.00 upon successful completion.
You will have access to a tutor, via email, who will mark your work and guide you through the course to help you prepare for your assignments. You will be provided with all course materials via our Learner Management System in order to be guided through your course content. Full tutor support is offered throughout the course to ensure your learning outcomes are met to a satisfactory standard.
